As part of its readiness for election, Sokoto State SIEC have appointed permanent Electoral Officers, it has also opened offices in all the Local Government Areas. Copies of the Voters Register is also ready. Ballot Boxes have also been provided. The State has 23 Local Govt. Areas, 244 Wards and a total of 3036 Polling Units for the purpose of Local Government Election.
