HON. ALHAJI ADEGBILE RASAK AYODELE

HON. ALHAJI ADEGBILE RASAK AYODELE Was born on the 19th of February, 1959 in Ede Osun State. He started his education in Young Tajudeen School, Ojoro in Ede in 1972 where he obtained the Primary Six leaving School Certificate. He proceeded to the Baptist Secondary Modern School, Ode-omu 1977 where he obtained the General Certificate of Education (GCE) in 1983. As an excellent student he had no problem in being admitted into the National School of Salesmanship Manchester, England, 1985. Working Experience . He started his working carrier in the Nigerian Cocoa Board; Stores Department, Sapele and Warri, 1979-1986, he left because of dissolution by the Federal Government in December, 1986 as a Sales Executive. He was then employed in Amicable Assurance Plc from 1990-1991 in Ile-Ife Branch Office. Furthering his carrier in the insurance industry, he became the Branch Superintendent; Nigerian Reliance Insurance Company Limited, Osogbo Branch Office,1991-1993. He went on to become ; Marketing Officer, Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc., Osogbo Branch Office, 2008. Outside the insurance industry, he was Secretary Ede North Local Government Council 11th May, 2007 - January 10th 2008. Special Adviser to the Chairman Ede North Local Government Council on Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) November, 2005-July 2006, He attended various seminal among them is Stress Management For Local Government Functionaries/Administrators; He held many political Party Offices like ward 08 Secretary Ede Local Government, 1988. Later Secretary General Ede Local Government Chapter Defunct Liberal Convention. He was also elected as publicity/organizing Secretary Ede Local Government Area, Defunct National Republican Convention (NRC) 1990-1993. He was the PRO/Financial Secretary Elders Caucus Ede North Local Government Chapter before his appointment as Electoral Commissioner. He is happily married with children. Hobbies : football, swimming, table tennis, volleyball and traveling.
