MR. MABINUORI SAHEED OLALEKAN

Mr. Saheed Olalekan Mabinuori was born on the 19th of March, 1977 into the famous Mabinuori family of Olowogbowo Area of Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Young Mabinuori, a practicing Muslim, started schooling at Morocco Military primary School, Yaba, Lagos between 1983-1989. After completing his first School Leaving Certificate, he proceeded further in his quest for greatness to the Nigerian Model High School, Idi-oro, Mushin. Lagos between 1989 - 1994 and crowned his effort with the Senior School Certificate Examination (S.S.C.E.).
Between 1995 - 2000, Mr. Mabinuori, having recorded good results in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, got admission into University of Ibadan (Nigeria's Premier University) and on completion of his course, bagged a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Political Science.
The young, enterprising and dynamic Mabinuori began his working career between 2000 - 2001 as an Administrative Officer with Yauri Local Government, Kebbi State, while serving as a Corper during his Mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exercise. By a dint of hard work and dedication to duty, he was later in 2003 appointed as the Chairman, Committee on the Removal of Disused and Abandoned Vehicles in Lagos State.

Since 2003 when he was on this assignment, he was able to prove his leadership qualities and ability to serve the State relentlessly on a higher pedestal. Unknown to him, these qualities and the niche he had carved for himself over the years were being monitored and recognized by the immediate past Executive Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tmubu who appointed him an Electoral Commissioner in the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) with effect from 18th May, 2007. He is presently serving and preparing to conduct a free and fair Local Government Elections in the State, having been sworn in by the former Governor.

His skills include Good communication and Analytical skills; Diplomatic and thorough; Ability to prioritize work duty in the drive towards achieving key success elements as well as an Excellent team worker and equally productive on stand-alone assignment.
Mr. Mabinuori, who is presently single, loves playing football, traveling and reading.
