The young Felicia started her education at Ajara Primary School, Badagry where she got her first school leaving certificate between 1955-1961 after which she proceeded to Ajara Commercial Modern School, Badagry between 1962-1966 for her Modern three Certificate. Later in 1966, Mrs. Oriola while serving in the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) attended an Intermediate Command Course where she bagged a well deserved certificate to her credit.
Mrs. Felicia Oriola began her working career with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) which she voluntarily joined in 1968 with a view to contributing her quota to the nation's security upliftment, at a time an average parent, especially in this part of the country, would never encourage their wards (female especially) to join any of the forces.
A well trained, highly dedicated and loyal officer, Mrs. Felicia Oriola was while in the Police force, saddled with mainly administrative duties as well the supervision of Police Annual evaluation performances and brilliantly and excellently carried out her responsibilities to the satisfaction of her command.
As a rank and file officer she rose meritoriously from the rank of corporal in 1972 to the highly exalted and enviable rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in 1999. She was on this rank till her retirement in 2003 after serving her fatherland meritoriously for 35 years without any blemish.
While enjoying her retirement gracefully, she received yet another call to service by the Former Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who appointed her as an Electoral Commissioner in the Lagos State Electoral Commission (LASIEC) and had since been sworn-in.
Mrs. Felicia Oriola, a widow is blessed with children.
