Hon. Amele Tokunbo Moshood, a devout muslim, was born on 30l April, 1945 in Osoroko Town, via Local Government area of Lagos State. 30th April, 1945 in Osoroko Town, via Lekki in the Ibeju - Lekki
An engineer by profession, Hon. Amele attended St. Davids's Anglican Pry School, Osoroko between 1953 - 1959. He later proceeded to the Local Authority Secondary Modern School, Epe between 1960 - 1962 for his post-primary education. He later had his G.C.E. O/L in 2000.
Between 1963 - 1967, Hon Amele was an automobile trainee in Ibadan and later bagged the Federal Government Trade Test Grade I,II, and III respectively between 1974 - 1976. He attended the U.N.D.P/E.D.P Trainer Course in 1997 and between 1998 and 1999 he also attended an Arabic Dawah and Islamic Studies. He was also a Trainer, National Directorate of Employment.
Engr. Amele started his working career as an Assistant Workshop Foreman with Interpace Nig Engineering Company, Ibadan. He was also an Assistant workshop- Foreman with the Engineering Works Ltd as well as Incar Motors Nig. Ltd where he was also an Assistant Workshop-Manager.
Engr. Amele who was also a former Hon. Member of the Federal House of Representatives was before his appointment as an Electoral Commissioner in the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, (LASIEC) by the former Executive Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chairman/Managing Director, Toks Engineering Ltd, Anthony Village, Lagos. He is also a Chartered member, Epe Lions Club, member Epe Divisional Forum; founding member, Lekki Area Development Association as well as Authority Club 62, Epe, Lagos State.
He is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.
