I
would like to commend the courage and fore sight of His Excellency

for carefully selecting the team that make up the Commission. The
Commission as earlier mention is made up of a very formidable team
of dedicated and experienced people who have excelled in various
fields of endeavors. It is a team that I enjoined a very good working
relationship with, they proved to be very hard working and able
members. With the able assistance the Commission is able to stand
as full pledged independent

its existence with the help of the commission members and the dedicated
staff the commission was able to conduct a referendum for
the creation of thirty additional local Government areas of the
State it has also conducted delimitation of wards for effective
and successful conduct of Local Government Council elections in
the State.

in its spending this has attracted commendations from the state
Government. It is my humble vision to make Katsina State Independent
Electoral Commission a model among all the SIECs in the Federation,
with God on our side, my past track record as an Ex-commissioner,
a seasoned administrator and a politician, and with the caliber
of people in the commission this task is going to be accomplished.
