In preparation for the Local Government Election now on hold, EBSIEC:
(a). created additional Electoral Wards;
(b). carried out numerous enlightenment/sensitization campaigns;
(c) appointed and trained 34 (thirty-four) electoral officers for the Local Government Area Offices.
(d) procured sensitive and non-sensitive materials;
(e) had interactive fora with Registered Political Parties and other stakeholders in the democratic process:
(f) collected Voters Register from 'NEC and made useful observations to INEC;
(g) recruited about 6000 (six thousand) ad-hoc staff; and
(h) screened candidates as presented for LocalGovernment election by the interested Political parties.
